We Help Those That Do Good, Do More.

What we do.

At the Social Shepherd Foundation, we believe that people who serve their community deserve strong support behind them. Our mission is to strengthen the work of those who protect, uplift, and advocate for others. We stand behind veterans seeking guidance and access to their benefits, and we support efforts that fight human trafficking and protect vulnerable people.

Our approach is also simple: We connect people. We share resources. We partner with those already doing meaningful work. When someone is out there making the world better, we want to lift them higher.

Veteran Assistance

Our work with veterans focuses on practical support and real connection. Many veterans struggle to navigate the VA system, so we help guide them through benefits, resources, and next steps. We also take a mentorship approach by offering peer support for veterans who are transitioning into civilian life and need someone who understands what they’re facing. When needed, we connect veterans with trusted partners who can provide additional services. We also stand behind mental health advocacy, especially suicide-prevention efforts, because no veteran should feel alone or without support.

Anti-Human Trafficking

We are committed to supporting efforts that fight human trafficking and protect vulnerable people in our communities. Our focus is on raising awareness, educating the public, and helping people understand the signs and risks. We partner with frontline organizations that work directly with victims and survivors, offering support where it is needed most. We also help connect volunteers and resources to the groups doing the hard work on the ground. One of our priorities is helping to create safer pathways for survivors by supporting programs that offer protection, stability, and long-term recovery.
